Bring Your Own Tote! Inspired by the textiles featured in American 250, this Studio Social invites you to breathe new life into your beloved tote bags with hand-stitched embellishments. Led by quilting artist Linda Pumphrey, you’ll master the art of combining patchwork fabric, simple embroidery, and decorative touches like buttons and stitching, transforming any tote into a one-of-a-kind creation. Bring your own tote or use one of ours.
Studio Socials are more than just workshops—they’re creative nights out designed for connection and exploration. With a laid-back, drop-in style and a cash bar, these events make art fun and accessible. Whether you come with friends or fly solo, you’ll find a welcoming space to experiment, socialize, and leave with something handmade and uniquely yours.
**** We'll also experiment with the technique on watercolor paper, as usual, so you'll leave with a framed art piece you've created. Just incase you don’t have a tote we gotchu with another project ***
Queer Craft Corner family, we’re so grateful to have shared this creative evening with you all! A huge thank you to Crystal Bridges for hosting us and to Rachel Borntrager, our amazing drop-in artist. Your support means the world to us! @crystalbridgesmuseum @rachelborntragerart

We warmly invite you to join us on Saturday, March 14th, from 11 AM to 3 PM at the Crystal Bridges America 250 opening celebration! β€οΈπ€π We're thrilled to bring an arts and crafts workshop to this exciting event, where we'll be embracing America's vibrant diversity by creating our very own flags. Imagine if you could fly your own flag—what would it look like? You'll have the chance to design your very own canvas flag! π³ππ¨
Our second project is inspired by childhood memories of museum visits, where I often wanted a souvenir but couldn’t always afford one. With that in mind, we’ve created a workshop where everyone can craft their own handmade souvenirs. Come and make a special button with us to commemorate America 250 grand opening.
We can't wait to see you there! π No ticket purchase is necessary on our end. Just head to the museum on the day of the event and look for our Queer Craft Corner sign. β¨οΈπβ¨οΈ
Hellooooooooooo, friends!! π
This Friday's event will be at the Eleven restaurant at Crystal Bridges (across from the main lobby) rather than where we were located last time.
We are so very excited to work alongside guest artist Rachel Borntrager!!! @rachelborntragerart
See you there! β¨οΈπβ¨οΈ
π’ When you arrive, simply take the elevator down. You'll find us right across from the gift shop at the Eleven Restaurant, beneath the big gold heart. While we don't have parking lot attendants this time due to our new location, rest assured that finding us will be much easier now. We're looking forward to seeing you!
Note : Moving forward, you can expect ticket sales for our upcoming events to go live the following Monday/Tuesday.

Thank you once again for being part of this amazing journey! ππ
π Hey everyone! π
As our event at Crystal Bridges approaches, we want to share our plan with you to ease any anxiety or worry about the details. Here’s what you can expect:
π A parking lot attendant will be on-site to guide you to the parking area near the giant silver tree art installation located right in front of the museums entrance.
π’ Once you arrive, we’ll have a volunteer at the elevator to help you navigate to your destination and answer any questions you may have along the way. Please remember, we will be scanning your tickets, so make sure to have your ticket email ready.
π Everything else will be set up just like usual. A member of QCC will receive you upon entry and assist you with making a name tag. We’ll have an hour dedicated to mingling during happy hour, and the rest of our time will be filled with creativity and fun!
We’re so excited to see you all there! π Can’t wait!

Is reliable transportation an obstacle for you to make it to our events? Are you a good samaritan with a fiery passion for carpooling? Fret no more!
Hi QCC fam! We want everyone to have access to our events. One way of increasing that accessibility is carpooling and ensuring that those of us who might have transport barriers get out to Crystal Bridges!
Special thanks to our good judy, Helen, for taking initiative on this project πππ Reach out to her via WhatsApp if you are interested in carpooling, either driving or being picked up. Please include your name and your location, and we will get working on the rest!
